Oil pressure is an important indicator of the lubrication system. Its size indicates the strength of lubrication. Generally, the oil pressure of diesel generator is specified within 0.15~0.3MPa. Too high or too low oil pressure will affect the normal operation of diesel generator set. Whether the oil pressure is normal or not is closely related to whether the oil brand is correct. Improper selection of oil brand may lead to too high oil pressure of Yuchai diesel generator set.

High oil pressure will make Yuchai diesel generator prone to oil leakage. Oil leakage will occur at the oil block of the unit, front and rear oil seals of the crankshaft, etc. due to high oil pressure. If the oil pressure is too high, sometimes the oil filter will burst or fall off, causing a large amount of oil leakage, which is very dangerous in the operation of Yuchai diesel generator set. If it is not found in time, it will cause serious damage to the diesel generator. When it is found that the engine oil of Yuchai diesel generator set is too high, Dingbo Power suggests the user to check the engine oil in Yuchai diesel generator set as follows:

1. The blockage of the main and auxiliary oil channels towards each lubrication surface.

2. For generator sets that have been in use for a long time and have not been maintained in a timely manner, the oil passages and fuel injection nozzles should be inspected and cleaned to eliminate the blockage of the oil passage outlet.

3. Whether to use the corresponding brand of engine oil according to the specified region or season.

When selecting engine oil, Dingbo Power suggested to select the appropriate brand of engine oil according to the local season and temperature, and must pay attention to the two indicators of engine oil quality grade and viscosity grade. Yuchai diesel generator requires the use of multi viscosity engine oil, because the multi grade engine oil is suitable for a large temperature working range, so that in areas where the temperature difference between morning and evening is large, and the viscosity of the engine oil in a longer seasonal range can meet the needs of the normal operation of the diesel generator set.

When the oil pressure is within the normal range, the oil can be delivered to all parts of the diesel generator.
