If the rated power is 400KW, it means that the generator set can operate continuously for about 24 hours under variable loads within 400KW, then its overload power will be 440KW.

2.Standby power(max.power)

The backup power refers to the larger power that the generator set can operate continuously for 300 hours between the specified maintenance cycles and under the specified environmental conditions, with a maximum of 500 working hours per year. Equivalent to the Limited Time Operating Power (LTP) in national and ISO standards. It is generally suitable for occasional emergency conditions with significant changes in load, such as communication and buildings. That is to say, the backup 400kW is the maximum, it has not overload ability.

3.Differences and connections between the prime power and standby power

The backup power is usually 1.1 times the prime power.
