1280kW Silent Containerized Generator Set Exported to Kazakhstan

Dingbo Power is pleased to announce the successful shipment of a 1280kW silent containerized diesel generator set to a data center customer in Kazakhstan on August 12, 2026. The generator set is currently in transit and is expected to arrive at the customer's site shortly, where it will serve as a critical backup power solution for their expanding data center operations.

A journey of trust and collaboration

Our relationship with this valued customer began in November 2025, when we contacted the customer and he learned about our reputation as a professional diesel generator manufacturer. At that time, the customer already operated a 750kVA generator set and had another rental unit on site. However, as their data center's power demands continued to grow, they recognized the need for a more robust and permanent solution.

From Initial Inquiry to Final Specification

The customer initially requested quotations for 600kVA and 1000kVA generator sets, as well as a 1000kW unit, with engine brand preferences including Perkins, Cummins, and Weichai. After careful calculation of their actual load requirements, they determined that a continuous power output of 1280kW was necessary to meet their data center's backup power needs.

The customer's installation site presented specific challenges, including limited space and strict noise level requirements. Our engineering team worked closely with the customer through multiple rounds of design modifications to ensure the containerized silent generator set would fit within the available footprint while delivering exceptional sound attenuation. Thegenset was built as a silent containerized type, equipped with high-performance sound insulation materials to minimize operational noise.

Quality assurance and customer confidence

Upon completion of production, we conducted rigorous load-bank testing and noise level testing at our factory. Test videos were promptly shared with the customer for verification. After receiving their approval and the final payment, we arranged shipment on August 12, 2026. The generator set is now on its way to Kazakhstan, where it will provide reliable standby power for the data center's critical operations.
