150KW Generator Fuel Supply Ddjustment Method

During the operation of 150 kW generator on the construction site, if the oil supply adjustment is not made, it will cause excessive fuel consumption. In order to obtain economic fuel consumption rate, relevant personnel shall timely correct the fuel supply advance angle of diesel generator during daily operation.

Adjustment method of fuel supply advance angle:

1. Remove the high-pressure fuel pipe of the fuel injection pump-governor assembly and one cylinder, and lock the handle on the governor to the position of the diesel engine with large fuel supply.

2. Turn the flywheel according to the direction of diesel generator, observe the fuel supply of the first cylinder of the fuel injection pump during the rotation, and stop rotating the crankshaft when the oil level of the first cylinder is found to fluctuate.

3. If the degree of fuel supply on the flywheel corresponding to the pointer on the flywheel housing does not match the fuel supply angle specified by this type of diesel engine, loosen the two locking screws on the fuel injection pump coupling plate, and then rotate the crankshaft to make the pointer match. The angle within the specified range can be tightened with two fixing screws.

Precautions for adjusting the fuel supply advance angle:

1. Before adjusting the fuel supply advance angle of the 150kw generator, the air inside the low pressure oil cavity of the fuel injection pump must be removed, otherwise, the adjusted fuel injection advance angle will have an error.

2. Before calibrating the fuel injection pump, mark the fuel injection pump coupling disc when disassembling. If there is no mark, you should first check whether the first cylinder or the next cylinder of the diesel engine is near the top dead center of the compression stroke during assembly. If it is not near the top dead center, use a flat-blade screwdriver to turn the diesel engine flywheel so that one cylinder or the next cylinder is near the top dead center of the compression stroke, then remove the side cover of the fuel injection pump and rotate the drive shaft of the fuel injection pump.

If the first cylinder of the diesel engine is near the top dead center of the compression stroke, turn the first cylinder of the fuel injection pump to close to the fuel supply, and stop rotating the drive shaft of the fuel injection pump; If the rear cylinder of the diesel generator is near the top dead center of the compression stroke, turn the rear cylinder of the fuel injection pump to close to the fuel supply, and stop rotating the drive shaft of the fuel injection pump. According to the above corresponding relationship, after adjusting the fuel injection pump, assemble it on the diesel engine, lock the two screws on the combination plate of the fuel injection pump, and start the diesel engine. If there is abnormal metal knocking sound during the operation of the diesel engine, it shall be adjusted according to the adjustment method of oil supply advance angle after the shutdown of the diesel generator until the oil supply advance angle meets the angle specified in the manual.

Normal shutdown of 150KW generator

The switch must be opened before shutdown. Generally, the load unloading unit needs to operate for 3-5 minutes before shutdown.

Emergency shutdown of 150KW generator

1) In case of abnormal operation of the generator set, it must be shut down.

2) During emergency shutdown, press the emergency stop button or push the fuel injection pump shutdown control handle to the parking position.
