Installation of Weichai 200kW Diesel Generator Smoke Exhaust System

1.Code for installation of smoke exhaust system of standby 200 kW Weichai generator set

A.The smoke exhaust pipe of the unit shall be led outdoors, the external connecting pipe shall not be too long, there shall be no more than 3 elbows, and there shall be large fillet transition at the corner;

B.The smoke exhaust pipe support shall be able to support the weight of the smoke exhaust pipe, and the diesel engine exhaust pipe or supercharger shall not bear the weight of the smoke exhaust pipe;

C.The indoor and outdoor surfaces of the smoke exhaust pipe shall be wrapped with thermal insulation materials, and the outlet of the outdoor part shall be provided with fire and rain proof measures.

2. Installation of fuel system of diesel generator set

In addition to the following requirements, the installation of fuel system of diesel generator set shall also comply with the provisions of relevant GB or IEC regulations and specifications.

A. The oil inlet and return pipes of 200kW standby Weichai generator set for fire protection shall meet the design requirements, and the soft connection method shall be adopted. The connecting pipe shall be plastic pipe or copper pipe of corresponding size.

B. The size of the oil tank in the machine room shall meet the design requirements, and its capacity shall be able to store fuel that meets the rated power of the unit for more than 8 hours. The installation position shall try to ensure that the oil level of the oil supply in the oil tank is higher than the inlet of the oil transfer pump of the diesel engine.

C. The oil suction port of the oil inlet pipe shall be more than 50mm higher than the bottom of the diesel engine fuel tank, and a primary fuel filter shall be installed at the outlet of the fuel tank to avoid sucking the sediment in the fuel tank into the fuel system and blocking the oil circuit.

D. A stop valve shall be set in the fuel supply pipeline for the maintenance of the diesel engine.

E. The connection of fuel system pipeline must be sealed. In case of leakage, it shall be solved to avoid affecting the starting performance of the engine.

3. Installation of 200kW electrical circuit of standby Weichai generator set for fire protection

In addition to the following requirements, the installation of electrical circuit of diesel generator set shall also comply with the provisions of relevant GB or IEC regulations and specifications.

A. The grounding wire of the unit shall be well grounded and form a stable electrical path with the grounding grid of the project;

B. The battery shall be installed near the starting motor, and the connecting wire shall be as short as possible;

C. When connecting the electric starting system line, the section of the connecting copper conductor connected to the battery shall not be less than 50mm2. The resistance of each conductor at 20 ℃ shall not be greater than 0.0005 Ω. If the connecting line is several meters long, its section must be enlarged accordingly;

D. The section of copper conductor used for connecting secondary side control switch shall not be less than 2.5mm2;

E. The connection and installation of cables and control instruments between Weichai diesel generators and control box shall be correct and smooth, reduce twists and turns, and meet the requirements of construction drawing design.
