For example, after a new diesel generator set has been used for a period of time, the fuel supply advance angle may change due to the loosening of the fixing screws of the transmission connecting plate of the high-pressure fuel pump assembly. The combustion in the combustion chamber deteriorates. If the fuel supply advance angle is too large, the power of the diesel generator set will be insufficient, the exhaust pipe will emit black smoke, and the temperature of the diesel generator set will be too high. Good combustion in the combustion chamber, for example, the change of valve clearance during the operation of the diesel generator set will also cause insufficient power of the diesel generator set. Oil Pressure Adjustment Method for Large 600 kW Diesel Generator

 

1. Adjustment of oil pressure.

There are generally two lubrication methods for large 600 kW diesel generators: pressure lubrication and splash lubrication. Too low or too high oil pressure will affect the lubrication quality of diesel generator sets. Therefore, diesel generator sets must control the oil pressure when working. Within the specified range.

 

2. Adjust the regulator.

During the use of diesel generator sets, faults such as the pointer of the charging current meter do not move, and the charging current is too large or too small. If the charging current to the battery is too large, the service life of the battery will be shortened; if it is too small, the battery cannot be charged on time. When the diesel generator set is working, if the charging current displayed by the charging ammeter is too large, the current limiting spring of the regulator should be adjusted to shorten the spring, then the current will decrease, otherwise the current will increase. Be careful not to apply too much force during the adjustment process, and lightly touch it until it meets the requirements.

 

3. Adjustment of fuel supply advance angle.

In order to obtain the most economical fuel consumption rate, the fuel supply advance angle is generally corrected after the large-scale 600-kilowatt diesel generator has been operated for 500 hours or when the fuel injection pump-regulator assembly has been calibrated and reassembled.
