Cummins diesel generator set fault 1: low oil pressure.

During the operation of Cummins diesel genset, low oil pressure will cause poor lubrication of all transmission parts of the set. If the oil circuit is blocked, there will also be cylinder pulling, cylinder holding and excessive bearing clearance, which will directly affect the normal use of Cummins diesel generator set.

The low oil pressure of Cummins diesel generator set is mainly related to the following aspects:

(1) Cooling system: oil cooler blocked; The outer space of the radiator core is blocked.

(2) Lubrication system: oil filter is dirty; The oil suction pipe is blocked; The oil pressure regulator has failed.

(3) Mechanical adjustment and repair; Improper bearing clearance; The engine needs to be overhauled; The main bearing or connecting rod bearing is damaged.

(4) Use and maintenance: engine overload; The oil should be replaced on time to ensure the correct use of the oil filter element. Only by following the correct maintenance method can the normal use of the unit be guaranteed.

Fault 2 of Cummins diesel generator set: coolant does not circulate

During the operation of Cummins diesel generator sets, coolant non-circulation is often encountered, including large circulation without small circulation, or small circulation without large circulation, resulting in rapid cylinder temperature rise and sudden shutdown due to oil temperature rise, which directly affects the safe use of Cummins diesel generator sets.

There are several reasons for coolant without circulation:

(1) Cummins diesel generator set heat sink is blocked or damaged. The heat dissipation fan does not work or is blocked by the heat sink, so that the temperature of the coolant cannot be reduced. The rust of the heat sink can cause the leakage phenomenon, which can also cause poor circulation.

(2) The temperature of the temperature of the Cummins diesel generator crew fault. The engine burning room is equipped with a thermostat, the purpose is to control the temperature of the engine burning room. The thermostat must be completely opened at the specified temperature (82 degrees).

Holding a circular temperature may generate a low temperature alarm.

(3) The cooling system in the cooling system of the Cummins diesel generator set is mixed with air, resulting in poor pipelines, and damage to the inhalation valve and exhaust valve on the expansion water tank. The gas pressure is 10kPa and the exhaust pressure is 40kPa. Whether the exhaust pipeline is unblocked in addition to the secondary exhaust pipe is also an important reason for affecting the cycle.

(4) The cooling liquid surface of the diesel generator set is too low or does not meet the regulations. If the liquid surface is too low, the temperature of the cooling liquid can be directly caused by the increase in the temperature of the coolant. The rust makes the coolant cannot be circulated normally.

(5) The water pump of the Cummins diesel generator set failed. Check whether the role of the pump is good. If you find that the water pump has a limited wear of the tooth axis, it means that the pump has no effect, and it needs to be replaced to circulate normally.
