During the load operation of the diesel generator set, the oil supply time of its high-pressure oil pump was damaged due to many other reasons, which led to the inaccurate time of the high-pressure oil pump of the diesel generator set, either too early or too late. This not only wastes fuel oil, but also causes some damage to diesel generator units. Cylinder knocking: After the diesel generator set is started, a slight metal knocking sound can be heard under normal conditions. If the fuel supply is too early, you can hear a metal tapping sound like hitting the piston with a hardwood hammer. The lower the speed, the more obvious it is, and the earlier the fuel supply, the clearer the sound; If the fuel supply is too late, the knocking sound is not obvious. Of course, poor atomization of the fuel injection nozzle can also cause explosions when the natural delay period of the fuel increases, but the impact of knocking is much smaller than that caused by inaccurate fuel supply, and it is not difficult to distinguish based on comprehensive observation.

Starting performance: the fuel supply time has a significant impact on the starting performance of the diesel generator set, especially when the car is cold. It is difficult to start if the fuel supply time is too early or too late.

Idle speed and high-speed performance: If the engine runs well at idle speed, the working performance deteriorates after acceleration, and the exhaust pipe emits white smoke. After deceleration, it returns to normal, which is mostly due to the late fuel supply time. If the engine runs well at high speed, the working condition deteriorates after deceleration, the knocking sound is severe or even there is no idle speed, and the exhaust pipe emits black smoke intermittently. After acceleration, this phenomenon is alleviated, which often results in premature fuel supply time.

Load performance of diesel generator set: the engine is weak when the fuel supply time is too early or too late, especially when it is too late.

Overheating of diesel generator set: if the fuel supply time is too early or too late, the engine will overheat, but the performance is different. When the fuel supply is too early, the first symptom is that the oil temperature is too high, accompanied by a high water temperature phenomenon; When the fuel supply time is too late, the first manifestation is that the water temperature is too high, accompanied by a phenomenon of high exhaust temperature, while the increase in oil temperature is not significant.
