Two 400kW Shangchai Silent Diesel Generators Were Exported to Algeria

In October, 2025, Ding Power was pleased to secure an order from a valued client in Algeria for 2 sets of 400kW silent diesel generator sets. The Algerian client selected our generators to ensure an uninterrupted and stable power supply for their critical operations, a testament to our reputation for quality and performance in demanding environments. We commenced production on October 11 and have now successfully completed them as planned.

The heart of these generator sets is the powerful and fuel-efficient Shangchai 6ETAA12.8-G310 diesel engine, renowned for its durability and low maintenance requirements. It is perfectly paired with a Dingbo DB-400 brushless self-excited alternator, ensuring optimal energy conversion and stable power output.

Control and monitoring are managed by the SmartGen HGM6120CAN-4G-G controller. This advanced system features 4G remote monitoring capabilities and is equipped with a 3-phase, 4-wire mains detection signal. This allows for seamless integration with an Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) panel, enabling the generator to start automatically during a utility power outage, thus guaranteeing continuous electricity.

Designed for practical, long-duration operation

According to the client’s requirement, each unit is equipped with a substantial 750-liter base fuel tank. This design minimizes the frequency of refueling, making the diesel generators ideal for remote sites or applications where a constant fuel supply cannot be guaranteed.

The entire system is housed within our custom-built silent canopy. Constructed from 2mm thick galvanized steel sheet, the enclosure offers superior protection against harsh weather and corrosion. Most importantly, it effectively reduces noise levels to an impressive 75 dB(A) at 7 meters, ensuring minimal sound disturbance and compliance with strict environmental standards for residential or urban areas.

Mounted directly onto the canopy is an 800A Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), creating a compact, all-in-one power solution that is ready for immediate and efficient installation.
