Cleaning and Repairing of Oil Storage Tank of Shangchai Genset

Excessive impurities in the fuel tank of Shangchai diesel generators will also affect the normal use of the generator, so regular cleaning is required. 1. Cleaning method.

There is too much sediment in the oil storage tank of the generator set, and a large amount of impurities enter the oil pipe, which will accelerate the dirt and clogging of the filter and the wear of the precision parts, which will affect the normal use of the diesel generator. Therefore, it is very necessary to regularly eliminate the deposits in the oil storage tank of the generator set and keep the oil storage tank of the generator set clean.

When cleaning the oil storage tank of the generator set, compressed air can be used to clean it, and it is not necessary to remove the oil storage tank of the generator set from the vehicle. The main methods are as follows:

(1).Unscrew the oil drain plug of the oil storage tank of the generator set, and install the oil drain plug after draining the oil.

(2).Remove the diesel generator fuel storage tank cover and filter screen, and add fuel to the generator fuel storage tank. The oil level is about 15-20mm from the bottom of the generator fuel storage tank.

(3).Then connect the compressed air hose to the special spray head. The spray head is usually a metal tube with an outer diameter of 12mm and a length of about 250mm, one end of which is welded and plugged and drilled with 4 to 5 small holes of 1mm, and the other end is connected with a hose.

(4).Insert the hose with the washing head into the bottom of the oil storage tank of the generator set.

(5). Use a clean cloth wrapped cotton yarn to block the fuel filler opening, turn on the compressed air switch, and keep the air pressure at 380~600kPa for flushing. When rinsing, the position of the spray head should be changed frequently to make the deposits and adherents move with the oil.

(6).When the spray head rushes to the oil storage tank of the generator set, immediately remove the oil drain plug to release the dirty oil.Repeated cleaning 2-3 times in this way to achieve the purpose of removing dirt.

(7). After cleaning the oil storage tank of the generator set, check to see if there is any dirt or damage on the oil filter of the oil storage tank, and remove it at any time.

(8). Check whether the vent valve of the oil storage tank cover of the generator set is unblocked. If the valve spring has no elasticity or is corroded, it should be repaired or replaced.

(9)Fill up the oil at last and treat the air in the oil circuit.

2. Professional skills for repairing the oil storage tank of the generator set.

(1).If the leakage of the oil storage tank of the generator set is not rubbed, the leakage can be stopped by soldering, and then painted for protection.

(2) . If the leakage is at the frictional part of the oil storage tank of the generator set, remove the oil storage tank of the generator set, clean the inside of the oil storage tank with hot soapy water, and then dry it with compressed air, and turn the outlet of the oil storage tank of the generator set toward no one. (Preferably open in the open), heat the leaking part with a welding torch, and after confirming that there is no residual fuel vapor in the fuel storage tank of the generator set, weld repairs can be carried out to avoid accidents.
