2. Rust prevention and corrosion prevention: Lubricating oil will be sucked into the surface of the parts to prevent water, air, acidic substances, and harmful gases from coming into contact with the parts.

3. Lubrication and reduction of wear: Rapid relative sliding between piston and cylinder, as well as between spindle and bearing liner. To prevent excessive wear of the parts, an oil film is required between the two sliding surfaces. A sufficiently thick oil film separates the surface of the relative sliding part to reduce wear.

4. Cleanliness: High quality engine oil can bring carbides, sludge, and worn metal particles back to the oil tank on engine parts, and flush the dirt generated on the working surface of the parts through lubricating oil flow.

How to change the engine oil of diesel generator set?

1. Place the generator on a flat surface and start the diesel engine for a few minutes to increase its oil temperature before stopping the diesel engine.

2. Remove the oil injection bolt (i.e. oil dipstick).

3. Place an oil basin under the diesel engine, remove the oil drain screw, and the oil can be discharged from the crankshaft oil tank.

4. Check the oil drain screw, sealing ring, and rubber ring. If there is any damage, please replace it immediately.

5. Reinstall the playback oil screw and tighten it.

6. Lower the engine oil and add it to the upper position of the oil scale grid.
