Function: It can automatically change the circulation mode of the cooling water to adjust the temperature and maintain the diesel engine to work at an appropriate temperature. During the working process of the engine, due to the combustion of diesel or gasoline and the friction between the parts, a large amount of heat is generated, which causes the parts to be heated to a high temperature. If it does not dissipate heat, the normal operation of the engine cannot be guaranteed. Of course, if the machine is not turned on overnight, and the temperature is lower than this temperature when the fire is first started, then it is necessary to keep him warm and reach this temperature as soon as possible.

 

Water pump: Its function pressurizes the cooling liquid, promotes the cooling liquid to maintain an orderly circulating flow in the system, so that the cooling water generates a circulating flow to provide power, thereby accelerating the heat dissipation of the engine to achieve the purpose of cooling. It has small dimensions and simple structure. It is mainly composed of pump body, impeller, water seal, water pump shaft, rolling bearing and water blocking ring. Installation and maintenance: A. When installing the water pump, when the water pump with gear transmission, its gear should be kept in good mesh with the transmission gear; and for the water pump with belt transmission, it should be ensured that the groove of the water pump pulley and the groove of the transmission pulley are in the same line. Online, and adjust the tightness of the transmission belt appropriately. If it is too loose, the belt will slip, resulting in lower working efficiency of the water pump. If it is too tight, it will increase the load of the water pump bearing and cause premature damage to the bearing. B. According to the requirements of the manual, carry out daily maintenance, and fill the water pump bearing with an appropriate amount of lubricating oil in time. If the filling amount is too much or too little, the water pump bearing may be damaged. C. The working status of the water pump should be checked regularly, the water pump drive belt, the pulley can be rotated freely by hand, and it is required that the water pump impeller and the pump casing have no collision or friction, and the pump shaft should not be stuck. Radiator: It is composed of upper water chamber, lower water chamber and radiator core. It can prevent the engine from overheating. Note during use: Do not contact with any acid, alkali or other corrosive substances to avoid corrosion and damage. In order to avoid and reduce the internal blockage of the radiator and the generation of scale, when soft and hard water is used, it needs to be softened first. When using antifreeze, in order to avoid corrosion to the inner core of the radiator, use standard anti-rust and antifreeze, and perform regular inspections. When the liquid level is found to be lowered, timely replenish products that are consistent with the original antifreeze index. Do not add it at will Other models. In the process of installing the radiator, please be careful not to bump or damage the radiating ribs or damage the radiator, so as to ensure the heat dissipation capacity and sealing ability. After the coolant is completely discharged, when refilling the coolant, turn the drain switch of the cylinder to the open position first. When the coolant flows out, turn it off again, which will put the internal cooling system in The air is discharged, thereby avoiding blisters.In daily use, check whether the coolant is sufficient at any time. If the position is too low, add the coolant after stopping the machine to cool down. When adding coolant, slowly open the water tank cover first, but keep it away from the coolant filling port as far as possible to prevent high-pressure steam from spraying from the coolant filling port and causing burns. In winter, in order to prevent freezing and cracking of the radiator core, when we park for a long time or indirectly (especially start the engine overnight), we should open the water tank cover and drain switch on the radiator, which will not be cold resistant. All the coolant is released (except for cold-resistant, rust-proof and antifreeze), and when the engine needs to be used, the coolant that meets the specifications can be refilled. During the use of the radiator, the surrounding environment should be kept ventilated and dry to minimize the use in harsh environments. According to actual use, in order to ensure good heat dissipation performance of the radiator, the user should clean the core of the radiator once after three months of use, and blow out the foreign matter and debris accumulated in the radiator during cleaning. , You can also use clean water to clean the side along the opposite direction of the air intake. If necessary, complete cleansing regularly to prevent the inner core of the radiator from being blocked by dirt and affecting its heat dissipation performance.

Thermostat: The working principle is to use the thermal expansion force of ether or paraffin to control the opening size of the valve, thereby adjusting the amount of water entering the radiator. The function is to automatically adjust the amount of water entering the radiator according to the water temperature to maintain a suitable water temperature. There are two main ways: ether type and wax type. The wax type is used more often, and it is installed in a shell specially designed for the water outlet of the cylinder head.

Fan: It is an important part of the cooling system. The heat dissipation of the fan directly affects the heat dissipation of the engine, and its role is self-evident. It is mainly to enhance the velocity and flow of air flowing through the radiator and improve the heat dissipation capacity of the radiator. The fan adopts a suction propeller type, which is composed of blades and a blade frame, and is installed on the same shaft as the water pump impeller. The tightness of the fan belt can be adjusted by moving the generator or moving the tension wheel. The tightness of the belt should be appropriate. When pressing the middle of the belt, it should be able to press down 10 to 15 mm. If boiling occurs, check the cooling fan and replace it if necessary.

 

The role of antifreeze: lower the freezing point to prevent the cooling fluid from freezing in the cold winter and causing the radiator, water distribution pipe, water pump, engine and other parts of the machine to burst and crack. Prevent corrosion of the pipes and reservoirs of metal materials in the cooling system. Reduce the accumulation of scale and prevent the generation of scale. It can also increase the boiling point of the coolant, so timely replacement is very necessary. In winter, the weather is getting colder and colder. If the heating system is not hot, there may be two reasons, one is the engine cooling system, and the other is caused by the poor operation of the heating control mechanism. Observe the temperature of the two inlet pipes of the small heater tank. If both pipes are cold, or one is hot and the other is cold, it is a cooling system problem.

 

The first reason is that the thermostat has been opened, or the thermostat opened too early, so that the cooling system will perform a large cycle prematurely, and the outside temperature is low. When the machine is started, the cold air quickly cools the antifreeze, and the engine water temperature cannot rise. The warm wind will not get hot either. The second reason is that the impeller of the water pump is damaged or lost, so that the flow through the small water tank of the warm air is insufficient, and the heat cannot come up. The third reason is that there is air resistance, which makes the circulation of the cooling system not smooth, resulting in high water temperature and low warm air. If there is always air in the cooling system, it is likely that the cylinder head gasket is damaged and blows air into the system. If the inlet pipe of the small heater water tank is very hot, but the outlet pipe is cold, it should be that the small heater water tank is clogged, and it should be replaced in time.
