When its logic value is "1", the generator set will start automatically and act according to the prescribed control flow; when its logic value is "0", the generator set will automatically stop after a delay.The detection of abnormal power supply signals usually uses phase-failure protectors, voltage comparators, etc. For some controllers with a power detection device, the detection of the power supply signal is carried out inside the controller, and no external detection device is required.

(2) Diesel engine working condition signal. In addition to the working conditions (such as automatic working conditions, manual working conditions), the diesel engine working conditions that need to be tested include whether the starting is successful, whether the diesel engine speed is normal, whether the pressure of the lubricating oil and the temperature of the diesel engine are abnormal, etc.

In order to protect the diesel engine, when the start fails, the diesel engine is overspeed, the lubricating oil pressure is too low or the temperature of the diesel engine is too high, the unit will automatically stop and give an alarm, and the system will automatically lock. Without manual intervention (unlocking), the unit will not start automatically even if the start signal is received.

Such signals are usually detected by dedicated sensors, such as rotational speed sensors, pressure sensors, and temperature sensors.

(3) Generator status signal. In order to supply power to the load safely, it is necessary to detect the generator voltage, current, frequency and ATS status. When the above-mentioned power exceeds the limit, corresponding protection should be provided to avoid damage to the generator, cause an accident or reduce the quality of power supply.

(4) Other signals. In addition to the above signals, as an automatic control system, it also needs to detect battery voltage, charging voltage, fuel level, etc. to ensure that the generator set is always in a normal standby state and meets the requirements for starting at any time.In addition, the automated generator set monitoring system used for communication usually detects the signal of the room environment (temperature, humidity, door alarm, fire alarm, etc.).
