1. Only after the fuel valve is closed and the generator is cooled can the factory diesel generator set be refueled.

2. During refueling, do not take out the fuel filter screen, and do not mix dust, dirt, and other external debris into the diesel fuel.

3. Do not smoke or refuel in areas with flames.

4. Diesel fuel that meets national standards must be used. Observe the oil level gauge at all times when refueling, and do not allow fuel to spill or spill onto the engine and muffler. In case of accidental spillage or spillage, clean the diesel fuel before starting the generator.

5. After refueling, tighten the fuel tank cap.

The injected diesel fuel should rarely be precipitated for 48 hours before being used. The diesel generator set agent used should conform to the standard model specified by the season. The refueling tool should be clean and dedicated. The places where oil is added and stored should also be clean to prevent dirt from entering the fuel, which can accelerate wear of the coupling and reduce its service life.

Daily Oil Tank

The daily oil tank directly supplies oil to the generator, so it should also be placed in the generator room. The steel chassis of the minicomputer is equipped with a steel or plastic daily oil cylinder equipped with a fuel pipe to connect to the diesel engine. This type of "bottom tank" can provide a minimum of 8 hours of full load operation for the diesel engine. Or if equipped with a large engine bottom oil tank, it can operate for about 24 hours.

Large storage tank: In order to extend the service life of the genset, a separate large tank is required, especially for standby generator units that do not have regular fuel supply.

Large oil cylinder should generally be placed outdoors in a convenient place for refueling, and should be easy to clean and inspect. However, they should not be exposed to areas where ice can form in winter, as the flow rate of oil will slow down due to increased viscosity. The oil cylinder can be placed on the ground or underground.

Large oil cylinder must have vent holes to release the air pressure generated by filling the tank or by volatilization and expansion. It is also necessary to prevent the generation of vacuum due to oil consumption. The bottom of the oil tank should be circular and placed with a 2 degree inclination to facilitate the accumulation of water and sediment. A blowdown valve should be provided at the lowest point to discharge water and sediment to a fixed location. Buried oil tanks should often drain away this water.

The height difference between the large storage tank and the daily fuel tank is very important. Because the ultimate vertical distance for electric oil pumping is 4 meters. Therefore, the bottom of a large oil tank should not be more than 4 meters below the horizontal height of the daily oil tank. (The above oil tanks are provided by the user)
