2) Proper use of diesel generators

It is difficult to start the diesel generator by pressure ignition, so the diesel generator should strictly follow the correct cold start method. The e area below 5℃ can be preheated, and the cold area should be equipped with special preheating equipment to start, or add starting liquid (such as a mixture of ether and aviation gasoline).

After starting, idle for 3-5min, and then raise the generator set to medium speed without shaking. The temperature of the generator set can only be started when it rises to above 60℃.

3) Diesel generator load should be selected before the smoke limit

The friction loss of the generator set in low load condition is relatively large, the mechanical efficiency and power are low, so the oil consumption rate is high. As the load increases, the mechanical efficiency increases, and the oil consumption per unit power decreases gradually. The load of the diesel generator must be selected before the smoke limit, and the maximum fuel supply is adjusted between the lowest fuel consumption point and the smoke limit point.

4) Maintain the normal working temperature of the generator set
