The inlet of the compressor casing is connected with the air passage of the air filter, while the outlet leads to the engine cylinder. The diffuser of the compressor is formed by the gap between the compressor casing and the intermediate casing.

 

The rotor body consists of a rotor shaft, a compressor impeller and a turbine, which are welded on the rotor shaft. The compressor impeller is an aluminum-gold casting and is fixed on the rotor shaft with a nut. The rotor body should be checked for static balance and dynamic balance before being installed in the supercharger, and its unbalance degree is allowed to be within a certain range.

 

The rotor speed of the exhaust gas turbine is as high as tens of thousands of revolutions, and the commonly used bearings in general machinery cannot ensure that the rotor works at high speed. Floating bearings are commonly used on radial exhaust gas turbochargers. There are gaps between the floating bearing, the rotor shaft and the intermediate shell. When the rotor shaft rotates at a high speed, lubricating oil with a certain pressure fills the two gaps, so that the floating bearing rotates in the same direction with the rotor shaft in the inner and outer oil films. , but its rotational speed is much lower than the rotor speed, so that the relative linear speed of the bearing to the bearing hole and the rotor shaft is greatly reduced. Due to the double-layer oil film, double-layer cooling and double-layer damping can be generated. Therefore, the floating bearing has the advantages of reliable operation under high speed and light load, reducing the vibration of the rotor body, and convenient processing and disassembly.

The lubricating oil required by the exhaust gas turbocharger comes from the main oil passage of the engine. After being filtered again by the fine filter, it enters the intermediate shell of the supercharger, and flows back to the crankcase through the lower oil outlet to form a continuous cycle of lubrication oil road.

 

In order to prevent the compressed air of the compressor and the exhaust gas of the turbine from leaking into the intermediate casing, resulting in a decrease in the supercharging effect and turbine power, as well as the influence of the high temperature exhaust gas on the bearing, a sealing device is provided in the exhaust gas turbocharger, and the compressor impeller An O-shaped rubber sealing ring and an air seal plate are installed between the intermediate casing and the rotor shaft; a sealing ring is installed between the rotor shaft and the intermediate casing. In addition, in order to prevent lubricating oil from entering the compressor, an oil baffle is also installed on the rotor shaft at the compressor end.

 

A heat shield is also installed between the intermediate casing and the turbine casing to reduce the adverse effect of the high temperature exhaust gas on the lubricating oil. The cooling of the exhaust gas turbocharger is generally natural air cooling, and there is also a water interlayer in the middle shell. The easiest way to supercharge a non-supercharged diesel engine is to install a suitable supercharger, replace the intake and exhaust pipes, appropriately increase the oil supply, and increase the oil circuit for lubricating the supercharger. Other structures can be omitted. change. Practice has shown that the power of the diesel engine can be increased by 20% to 30%, and the color of the exhaust smoke can be improved.
