DSE7320 Diesel Generator Set Controller Operation Procedure

The LED indicator on the top right of the stop/reset button indicates that the controller is in the stop/reset position. In the shutdown/reset mode, the operation interface will unload the generator before stopping the generator set (if necessary).

If the generator set cannot shut down as required, a shutdown failure alarm will be triggered (for the setting of the shutdown failure timer). After the unit has completely shut down, the following conditions must be met:

1. When the generator set has stopped and the control screen is in shutdown/reset mode, the file can be modified through the DSE settings software or the data can be modified by entering the front panel editor.

2. In shutdown/reset mode, generator set will not start. Even if the remote start signal is activated, this input will be ignored until automatic mode is selected.

3. If the mains switch is immediately switched to high efficiency and the control interface is in shutdown/reset mode, the power grid switch will be immediately disconnected when the mains power fails, and when the mains power is high efficiency, the mains switch will be closed and loaded.

4. Leaving the shutdown/reset mode, if no buttons are pressed, there is no communication device for parameter exchange, or the power saving mode is set, the control panel will automatically enter the power saving mode. Press any key to wake up the operating system again.

5. Pressing the start button in shutdown/reset mode will power up the generator set ECM but will not start the generator set.

6.If the generator set fails to ignite successfully, the starting motor will wait for the next start turning after the start interval. When the maximum number of cranking starts is exceeded, the start will be terminated and an unsuccessful start alarm will be prompted.

7.After the ignition of the generator set is successful, the starter will no longer operate. Speed maintenance is set to measure speed through the output frequency of the AC generator at the factory, but it can also be measured through a speed sensor installed on the flywheel or a CANbus connected to the generator set ECU.

8.After the startup system is disconnected, the safe operation timer is effective, allowing the module to ignore oil pressure, high water temperature of the generator set, low speed alarms, charging failure, and any custom alarms for growth, ensuring stable operation of the generator set without triggering alarms.

In manual mode, the load will not switch to the generator set side unless there is a load demand. Load demand can come from the following factors:

1. Custom input signal for remote load start or auxiliary power failure takes effect (DSE7320 MKII only).

2. Dual machine backup balance mode is efficient.

a. Press the generator disconnect button (DSE7310 MKII only) or switch to the mains button (DSE7320 MKII only)

b· Press the automatic mode button to return to automatic mode. The unit can comply with all automatic mode start commands and stop timers before the start of the automatic mode stop sequence.

c· Press the stop/reset button - the delayed load output is immediately cleared, and the unit stops running immediately.

3.In test mode, the diesel generator will not automatically start. Press the start button to activate the start sequence.

4.If the generator set fails to ignite successfully, the starting system will wait for the next start turning after the start interval. When the maximum number of cranking starts is exceeded, the start will be terminated and a start failure alarm will be prompted.

5.After the ignition of the generator set is successful, the starting motor will no longer operate. The speed detection is set at the factory to measure the speed through the output frequency of the AC generator, but it can also be measured through a speed probe installed on the flywheel or a CANbus connected to the generator set ECU.

6.After the starting motor is disengaged, the safe operation timer is effective, allowing the module to ignore oil pressure, high water temperature of the generator set, low speed alarms, charging failure, and any delayed custom alarms, ensuring stable operation of the generator set without triggering alarms.
