Have You Installed A Static Speaker for A Diesel Generator Set

With the improvement of people's production speed, diesel generator set has become an indispensable part of enterprise operation.  With the popularity of intelligent diesel generator set, people pay more and more attention to it.  Does the diesel generator set produce noise when it is running?  Needless to say, any machine running will have noise, just the size of the difference.  

There are two main sources of diesel generator noise, one is the noise generated by the operation of the machine itself, the general diesel generator room installation noise reduction engineering, the use of unique air duct design and internal noise processing, the installation of damping pads to reduce noise.  The other is the noise of the exhaust gas emitted by the unit. 1, the distance  

The easiest way to reduce generator noise is to increase the distance between you and the diesel generator installation site.  As the generator moves farther, the energy travels farther, so the sound intensity decreases.  As a general rule, when the distance is doubled, the noise can be reduced by 6dB.  

2. Sound barriers - walls, enclosures, fences  

Solid surfaces limit the propagation of noise by reflecting sound waves.  The installation of generators in the industrial units will ensure that the concrete walls act as noise barriers and limit the emission of sound beyond the area.  Noise reduction up to 10dB can be achieved when the generator is located within the standard generator cover and housing.  Noise is reduced to a greater extent when the generator is housed in a custom housing.  

If the enclosure is not sufficiently helpful, use a soundproof fence to create an additional barrier.  Permanent soundproof fencing is a quick and effective solution for construction operations, utility networks, and outdoor applications.  Installing permanent and custom soundproofing screens will help with silencing.  If a separate enclosure does not solve the problem, use a soundproof fence to create additional barriers.

3, sound insulation

Acoustic barriers reflect sound waves and limit noise only beyond the barrier.  However, to reduce noise, echo and vibration in the generator housing/industrial room, you need to isolate the space to absorb sound.  Insulation includes lining hard surfaces with sound-absorbing materials or installing soundproof wall panels and tiles.  Wall panels made of perforated steel are a common choice for industrial applications, but a variety of materials are available.  

4, vibration support  

Limiting noise at source is another good way to reduce generator noise.  An anti-vibration bracket is provided below the generator to eliminate vibration and reduce noise transmission.  There are many different options for vibration brackets.  Some examples of such mounts are rubber mounts, spring mounts, spring mounts, and dampers.  Your choice will depend on the amount of noise you need to achieve.  

In addition to isolating vibration at the generator base, installing flexible joints between the generator and the connection system reduces noise transmission to the surrounding structure.
