Homogeneous Compression Ignition Method of Natural Gas Generator Set

The thermal efficiency of the traditional gasoline engine is low，and it is hard to solve the problems of the soot and NOx emission of traditional diesel engine .However, The engine of natural gas generator set adopts the homogeneous charge compression ignition (HCCI) combustion mode  and the intake ports inject high octane fuel to form a homogeneous mixture, so the cylinder can eject Cetane fuel ignites to ignite.Based on this theory ,the natural gas generator set can probably achieve efficient and clean combustion.

 Before the mixture gas of the natural gas generator set fires,a low concentration of homogeneous mixture is formed in the combustion chamber, When the temperature in the cylinder is compressed to above the spontaneous combustion temperature of natural gas, the homogeneous mixture starts to ignite, so the homogeneous compression combustion  is completed .The operation method of the homogeneous compression-combustion gas suggestion machine combines the operating characteristics of combustion and compression-combustion. The high-octane fuel is injected into the intake port to form a homogeneous mixture during intake and compression, and the high-cetane fuel is injected directly into the cylinder for ignition.  This combustion method can achieve the thermal efficiency close to that of diesel engine and reduce engine emission.  Ignition combustion of homogeneous mixture has always been a focus of research.
