Standard And Specification For Test Of Lubricating Systems Of Genset

Lubrication system of diesel generator shall be tested

According to the acceptance specification of the whole diesel generator, and linkage with the mains, test whether the power supply network is normal and smooth, inspect whether the lubrication system should meet the requirements of full load operation of the whole machine.

1. Oil storage capacity test of oil pan

★ According to the assembly position of oil pan, determine the upper storage amount of oil pan, the lower storage amount of oil pan (test in the state of heat engine)

★ Residual oil quantity test of oil sump after oil discharge, oil quantity ≤80mL (according to the requirement of Cummins Company, diesel generator displacement ≤2.5L). ★ Diesel generator in the specified tilt state crank connecting rod trajectory and upper oil level state test.

2. Oil pressure distribution and characteristic test

The purpose of the test is to determine the oil pressure distribution of diesel generator in a specific speed range and temperature range, to establish the oil pressure capacity of the oil pump, and the oil return amount under various conditions. The test can refer to AVL standard F03N0030 "Oil Pressure Distribution Characteristics".

★ Measure the oil temperature and pressure at different lubrication points of diesel generator at different speed

High temperature idle speed test (recommended oil pressure value 0.5 ~ 0.8bar)

The high temperature oil return process allows the machine to stop for 30 minutes, so that the oil can completely return to the oil pan

★ Test by testing the oil pressure fluctuation in the lubricating oil road of diesel generator, to judge whether the stability of oil pressure at various speeds meets the requirements.

3. Tilt test of diesel generator

The purpose of the test is to verify that the lubrication performance and crankcase ventilation system in front and rear trim and lateral tilt conditions are consistent. The test can refer to AVL standard F03N0080 "Diesel generator tilt test".

4, diesel generator operating state oil gas test

To measure the gas content of the oil under the normal operation condition of the diesel generator, the test can refer to THE AVL standard F03N005 "Oil Gas Content Measurement", the oil gas content should be lower than the specified target value. The guideline for this target value is 10%(reference value).

5, diesel generator cold start test according to AVL test standard, for the following test

Oil pressure rise time

Maximum pressure drop for oil filter

Maximum inlet pressure of oil filter

6. In the development process of diesel generator machinery, it is necessary to test the main parts of the lubrication system, and develop and improve the products through the test

★ Oil pump performance test, according to the requirements of drawings or JB/T8886 "internal combustion Engine oil pump test method", reliability can be tested with the whole machine.

★ Oil filter performance test according to drawing requirements or according to ISO458, with the whole machine test run, mileage test (8000 ~ 10000)km

★ Oil cooler performance test according to the drawing requirements or according to the test method JB/T5095 "engine oil cooler heat transfer performance test method".

Cooling piston nozzle oil pressure and flow test, according to the requirements of the drawings, determine nozzle flow and pressure off system, whether to meet the needs of the product.

★ Supercharger, fuel pump, air compressor, VVT (diesel generator), and other accessories oil pressure and flow test. According to the requirements of the corresponding product drawings.
