Air intake system

1. In order to minimize dust inhalation, the position of the air inlet can be appropriately increased, or a coarse filter can be added at the upper end.

2. Must use high quality brand air filter and filter element, not cheap and free use of air filter element. The filter paper and filter cloth should be absolutely intact, and the end cover and sealing apron should not be deformed, aging or incomplete to ensure the quality of air filtration and prevent early engine wear.

3. When maintaining the filter element, a small amount of compressed air should be used to move up and down along the folding direction of the filter paper from inside to outside. It is never allowed to blow fiercely against the filter element from outside to inside, which will make the sand and dust block the filter paper and affect the air intake. Also can not knock against the filter element on the hard object to remove dust, but should be in the tire or other soft objects to slightly rotate knock against the filter element. The spare filter element must be packed into a plastic bag and tied tightly to prevent sand and dust from falling into it.

4.On the inner wall of the intake pipe coated with a thin layer of lubricating oil, so that the air through the air filter is clean again.

The fuel system

1. When refueling diesel generating set, the oil should be sent to the site in advance, and then refueled after a long time of precipitation, or as far as possible in the morning or evening when the sand is small. When refueling, the suction pipe mouth should not touch the bottom of the oil tank (bucket), so as not to inhale sand, and add a sand cover at the refueling gun head and the tank mouth.

2. Install a filter before the diesel filter to further filter the diesel fuel into the fuel injection pump.

3. Clean the diesel tank regularly and replace the diesel filter element regularly. Pay attention to whether the four corners of the tank are deposited with sand, sand is sucked into the filter will block the oil circuit, resulting in the lack of oil in the cylinder flares out.

Lubrication and hydraulic system

1. Add sand cover to all refueling ports and air vents. If possible, add a filter to the oil pipe from the oil filter to the turbocharger to make the lubricating oil into the turbocharger cleaner and ensure the normal operation of the turbocharger.

2. On the oil inlet pipe of the hydraulic system, a set of oil filter device can be added, and the hydraulic oil and transmission oil can be filtered once by the oil filter regularly.

3.Regularly clean the hydraulic tank, regularly clean or replace the hydraulic oil, lubricating oil and filter element.

The cooling system

The water in the desert is hard and alkaline, and the engine water tank must be added with antifreeze with good performance. It is strictly prohibited to add water, otherwise the cylinder block, cylinder liner corrosion is great, and the engine is prone to high temperature, water over phenomenon.

In the desert area, due to the large temperature difference between day and night, the viscosity of lubricating oil and hydraulic oil of diesel generator may increase and the lubrication performance is reduced, which will cause the load of gear box, motor, bearing and other components to increase and the surface wear is aggravated.
