Dingbo Power produced a 200KW Weichai silent diesel generator set in July, 2024. The generator set is coupled with a Shanghai Stamford alternator and equipped with a SmartGen controller. It can be used in many different industries, such as construction projects, hospitals, factories, schools, etc.

Features of 200KW Weichai diesel generator set

1 Weichai WP10D238E200 engine optimizes the engine air intake system and fuel system, which has a low fuel consumption. It can be started directly without any auxiliary means at the temperature of minus 15 degree Celsius.

2 SmartGen HGM7110N controls generator to start/stop by remote signal. It adopts 32-bit micro-processor technology and almost parameters can be configured from front panel of controller, and all parameters can be adjusted through PC software via USB/RS485 port and monitored through PC software via RS485.

3. Easy to access to all major components during routine maintenance.

4. Equipped with a 400A Suyang circuit breaker.

5. 12 hours base bottom fuel tank with a fuel level sensor.

6 Sound attenuated, weatherproof, green powder coated lockable enclosure, with noise level 75dB@7m.

What measures should be taken if your diesel generator sit idle for an extended period?

If your diesel generator set will not be used for a long time, it’s important to take certain measures to ensure that it is properly stored and maintained. Otherwise, a long period of inactivity can lead to issues such as battery discharge or fuel degradation. Over time, these issues could cause damage to your generator and reduce its lifespan.

Before storing the generator set, drain the diesel fuel and make sure the fuel tank is empty or nearly empty. Diesel fuel have a limited shelf life and can deteriorate over time. If it’s left in the fuel tank for a long time, the fuel system may be affected. Change the engine oil and oil filter to prevent the generator from rust and corrosion. In addition, ensure that the fuel tank and the oil lines are clean and sealed to prevent moisture and impurities from entering.

Diesel generators rely on batteries to start up, so it’s necessary to make sure the batteries are in good condition. Before storing your generator, disconnect and store the batteries in a dry and cool place. If batteries are left connected, they can discharge and be damaged, which can lead to generator start failure when it is next used.
