Safe Operation Notices of 150KW Deutz Generator

When using 150KW Deutz generator( this article is applicable to all types of diesel generator), you should clearly read “ Safe Notices”, which shows on the operation and maintenance manual, and keep them in mind and abide by it at all times. These safe notices will let you avoid accident.

1.Please do not revise the performance and specification of diesel engine.

2.Please do not smoke when filling diesel fuel into the fuel tank.

3.Clean leakage diesel fuel. If there is some goods with diesel fuel, should move them to a safe place.

4.Please do not fill diesel fuel when diesel engine running.

5.Please do not add diesel oil or adjust or wipe the engine,when the engine is running (unless the operator has been specially trained, even so, be very careful to avoid injury).

6.Do not adjust the parts you do not know.

7.Should keep exhaust system well, no any air leakage. Otherwise, the harm air will effect the human healthy.

8.When diesel engine running, if you wear loose clothes and have long hair, should be away from rotating parts.

9.Should be away from running parts of diesel engine.

10.When the engine is running, other personnel should be in the safe area.

11.Note: it is difficult to see whether some parts running when the engine is working.

12.If remove protection device, please do not start diesel engine.

13.Please do not add water when radiator is hot. The high temperature coolant maybe spray to cause human injury.

14.Do not use hard water, it will damage the cooling system.

15.Do not let sparks or open flames close to the battery (especially when the battery is charged), because the gas escaping from the battery electrohydraulic fluid is very easy to burn. Battery electrohydraulic is very dangerous to the skin, especially to the eyes.

16.When repairing electric system or diesel engine, should cut off battery connection.

17.Only can operate the engine through the control box and in the correct working position.

Maintenance safety warning

When cleaning the battery, do not smoke or use open fire nearby. The hydrogen produced by the battery will cause explosion.

Do not short circuit the battery output electrode.

Connect the positive pole of the battery first when wiring. Remove the negative pole of the battery first when removing.

1. Check the battery liquid level and add distilled water if necessary. If the battery is new and has never been charged, add the battery liquid prepared in advance.

2. Check whether there is dust on the control panel and generator, if so, please clean.

3. Check indicator of air filter, if there is blockage, replace sir filter.

4. Clean everything around the diesel generator. Remove unsafe goods to let operation be safe and avoid accident. And ensure there is no any blockage in cooling ventilation network.

5. Observe and check the fuel system, cooling system and lubricating oil seal of the unit for leakage.

6. If the smoke exhaust system has a drain valve, the condensed water shall be discharged regularly.

In order to give full play to the excellent performance of diesel generator set and extend generator service life, and give full play to its economic value to the greatest extent, please follow the requirements of the general preventive maintenance schedule. If your generator operates in bad conditions, please shorten the maintenance time according to the severity of the environment to carry out the maintenance in time. And reserve related spare parts in advance.
