 1, the installation site should be well ventilated, the generator end should have enough air inlet, the diesel unit end should have good air outlet.  Air outlet area should be more than 1.5 times the water tank area;  The air inlet is not smooth or does not meet the requirements, the air into the cylinder is less, so it will cause insufficient fuel in the cylinder, produce carbon deposition, affect the carrying capacity of the diesel generator set;  Similarly, the exhaust pipe does not meet the requirements, and the air oxygen content in the machine room is reduced, which will also cause insufficient fuel in the cylinder, produce carbon deposition, and affect the carrying capacity of the diesel generator set.  

2, the installation site should be kept clean around, avoid placing in the vicinity can produce acid, alkaline and other corrosive gases and steam items.  If conditions permit, fire extinguishing devices shall be installed.  

3, in indoor use, must be smoke exhaust pipe outdoor, pipe diameter must be greater than or equal to the muffler smoke pipe diameter, the pipe elbow should not be more than 3, in order to ensure smooth smoke exhaust, and should tilt the pipe down 5-10 degrees, to avoid rainwater injection;  If the exhaust pipe is installed vertically upward, a rain cover must be installed.  In order to increase the output power of diesel generator set, in the case of a cylinder capacity and number of certain, only to force more air into the cylinder to make the fuel burning inside the cylinder, can raise the mean effective pressure, diesel generating sets are currently using the turbocharger, the exhaust of diesel generator set is strict,  Once the exhaust is not smooth or the exhaust gas speed does not meet the requirements, the air entering the cylinder is reduced, which will cause the diesel generator set to decrease its carrying capacity.  

4,When the foundation is made of concrete, the levelness shall be measured with a level during installation so that the unit is fixed on a level basis.  There should be special shock cushion or bottom bolt between the unit and the foundation.   

5, the unit shell must have reliable protection grounding, the need for neutral direct grounding of the generator, it must be neutral grounding by professionals, and equipped with lightning protection device, it is strictly prohibited to use the grounding device of the mains for neutral direct grounding.  

6, The two-way switch between the generator and the mains must be very reliable in order to prevent power transmission.  The connection reliability of the bidirectional switch must be verified by the local power supply department.
