The difference in principle: the brushless motor adopts mechanical reversing, the magnetic pole does not move, the coil rotates. The alternating change of the coil current direction is completed by the commutator and brush that rotate with the motor. The brushless motor adopts electronic commutation, the coil does not move, and the magnetic pole rotates.

1. Brushless motor has simple structure, long development time and mature technology:

2. Dc brush motor has fast response speed and large starting torque:

Dc brush motor has fast starting response, large starting torque, stable speed change, almost no vibration from zero to the maximum speed, and can drive a larger load when starting. Brushless motor has large starting resistance (inductive reactance), so the power factor is small, the starting torque is relatively small, there is a buzz when starting, accompanied by strong vibration, and the driving load is small when starting.


3, DC brush motor runs smoothly, good starting and braking effect:

Brush motor is controlled by regulating the voltage, so the starting and braking is smooth, and the constant speed operation is also smooth. Brushless motor is usually a digital frequency conversion control, the first AC into DC, DC into AC, through the frequency change control speed, so the brushless motor in the starting and braking operation is not stable, vibration, only when the speed is constant will be stable.

4, DC brush motor control precision is high:

Brushless DC motors are usually used together with reduction boxes and decoders to give the motor a higher output power and a higher control accuracy of up to 0.01mm, allowing the moving parts to stop almost anywhere they want. All precision machine tools are controlled by DC motor.


5, dc brush motor low cost, easy maintenance:

Because of its simple structure, low production cost, many manufacturers and mature technology, the brushless dc motor is widely used and very cheap. Brushless motor technology is not mature, the price is high, the application scope is limited, mainly should be in constant speed equipment, such as frequency conversion air conditioning, refrigerator, etc., brushless motor damage can only be replaced.


6, no brush, low interference:


The brushless motor eliminates the brush, and the most direct change is that there is no spark generated by the operation of the brush motor, thus greatly reducing the interference of the spark to the remote radio equipment.
