Three Working Modes of Parallel Diesel Generator Set

Diesel generator set in parallel use, according to the different needs of customers, can be divided into three working modes:

1. Start parallel machine as required:

In automatic mode, when the generator set after receiving the starting signal, the highest priority (set) the unit automatically start, at the same time of the unit controller internal procedures compared with setting the value of the load, such as more than a single power rating (adjustable), 75% of the time priority get start signal controller, start the unit, synchronous weaver, load sharing, Add the unit as above when the load increases. When the load is reduced to less than 75% of the rated power of a single unit (adjustable), the sub-priority controller will send out the disassembly signal internally, and the unit will operate at a set time delay, and the unit will stop after the delay.

When the generator set with load fails and stops, the other sub-priority generator sets operate automatically and take load.

2, fully open start parallel machine:

In the automatic mode, when receiving the load signal is valid, all modules send out the boot signal, and the unit that meets the load condition first closes, and the other unit that meets the load condition synchronizes and synchronizes one by one. Then the controller module detects the load. When the load is less than the minimum percentage of shutdown set internally, the unit with low priority will enter the delay cooling and stop after the cooling. When the load increases again and exceeds the set percentage, all the remaining units that have not been started will start up and enter the above detection shutdown process. When the generator set with load alarms and stops, the remaining unstarted units will start up and enter the above detection and stop process.

3. Operation mode of balanced unit:

In automatic mode, when the generator group receives the start signal, the unit with the least running time starts automatically first. When the running time of the carrying unit is greater than the balanced running time set by the other unit group, the signal is sent to the other unit to start up, and after synchronizing and parallel, the machine will be unloaded and shut down by itself. All generator sets automatically start and shut down in turn according to the set balanced operation schedule.
