How to Control Temperature and Water Filtration of Diesel Generator Room

The temperature control of diesel generator room is very important. Although the unit has its own cooling system, the temperature of the diesel generator room will still be affected if it operates continuously for a long time. Therefore, we suggest that you pay attention to the design of the diesel generator room. The specific treatment methods are as follows:

1. When the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor air is small and the water volume is insufficient, it is advisable to use direct evaporative cooling air unit to reduce the temperature ofgenerator room.

2. When the water volume is sufficient and the water temperature can meet the requirements, water cooling should be used to reduce the temperature of the generator room.

3. When the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor air is large, outdoor air should be used to reduce the temperature of the generator room.

If ventilation is required in the control room of the mobile power station, it should be handled separately according to the following different conditions:

1. When the mobile power station is integrated with the air defense basement, fresh air shall be supplied from the air defense basement to the power station control room.

2. When the mobile power station is set independently, the control room should be set with an independent ventilation system to supply fresh air, and should be equipped with poison filtration ventilation device.

3. The oil storage room of the mobile power station shall be equipped with an exhaust device, and the ventilation frequency shall not be less than 5 times per hour. The exhaust pipe connected to the oil storage room shall be equipped with a fire damper closed at 70.

Everyone is familiar with the water filtration of diesel generator set, but what is the role of water filtration?

1. Reduce cavitation and corrosion. Supplement the cooling system of diesel generator with effective chemicals, maintain the appropriate additive concentration of coolant, and reduce the cavitation of diesel engine cylinder liner, water pump impeller and other components, as well as the corrosion of water pump impeller and its shell, cooling system elbow and pipe, heat exchanger, radiator, oil cooler, intercooler pipe end cover and other components.

2. Keep the coolant with proper pH.

3. Prevent blockage and scaling. Soften the coolant with chemicals to prevent the cylinder head from bursting due to the formation of scale on the water side surface of hot parts in the connecting chamber and serious wear of piston rings. And prevent sediment from blocking the coolant channels in the heat exchanger and radiator pipes, cylinder block and cylinder head.

4. Reduce wear. Filter out mud core sand, sediment, engine oil, mineral scale, rust, sediment of metamorphic additives, sealing debris and other impurities in the coolant, and reduce the wear of water pump and water pump housing, cylinder liner clearance seal ring, water pump water seal (end seal), thermostat and thermostat housing, thermostat seal ring and other parts.

5. It can be used to diagnose engine faults and determine the fault source.

6. Dirty. By filtering core sand, sludge, engine oil, mineral scale, metamorphic additive sediment, etc. In the engine coolant, the surfaces of thermostat, water temperature transmission chamber sensor and water heater parts can become dirty
