The heated parts lose cooling, which can easily cause overheating of cylinder heads, cylinder liners, cylinder blocks, and other components, resulting in cracks or excessive jamming in the cylinder liners. On the other hand, if the diesel engine is stopped without idle cooling, it will cause insufficient oil on the friction surface. 1.The installation site of diesel generator shall be well ventilated. There shall be sufficient air inlets at the diesel generator end and good air outlets at the water tank end of diesel generator. The area of the air outlet should be more than 1.5 times the area of the water tank.

2.When concrete is selected for the base, the levelness of the diesel generator must be measured with a level ruler when the equipment is installed, so that the unit is fixed on a horizontal base. Nowadays, they are equipped with specialized shockproof pads between the foundation, so there is no need to use foundation bolts on the ground.

3.It is necessary for diesel generator enclosure to have reliable maintenance grounding. For diesel generator that requires direct neutral grounding, it is necessary for professionals to conduct neutral grounding and equip lightning protection equipment. It is prohibited to use mains grounding equipment for direct neutral grounding.

4.When the diesel generator is used indoors, it is necessary to conduct the smoke exhaust pipe outdoors; The number of elbows should not exceed 3. The more elbows there are, the greater the power loss of diesel generator will be. So try to reduce the number of elbows to ensure smoke evacuation, and tilt the pipe down 5-10 degrees to avoid rainwater injection; If the exhaust pipe is vertically facing upwards, it is necessary to install a rain cover.

5.The surroundings of the diesel generator equipment ground shall be kept clean, and the articles that can produce corrosive gases and steam such as acid and alkali shall not be placed nearby. If conditions permit, first aid equipment should be provided.

6.The two-way switch between the diesel generator and the mains must be very reliable to prevent reverse power transmission. The wiring reliability of the bidirectional switch needs to be verified and approved by the local power supply department.
