The Preparation of Generators Before Starting Up

Generator in power failure when used, to people brought great convenience, the generator set alarm when the set of temperature, pressure or liquid level critical value is more strict than the value of emergency flameout, that is, tianjin generator alarm, should be in the emergency before taking the necessary corrective measures. Each switch is connected to an LED, alarm or speaker. The alarm continues until the fault is rectified, then the lights go off and the alarm bell or speaker stops ringing. A two-way switch and a red indicator can be installed to keep the switchboard quiet during maintenance. When the switch is off, the red light goes on.  

When the generator is not loaded, the armature current is zero and is called no-load operation. At this point, only the no-load EMF E0 (three-phase symmetry) caused by the excitation current if of the three-phase windings of the stator of the motor increases with the increase of IF. However, because the magnetic circuit core of the motor is saturated, the two are not proportional to each other. The curve reflecting the relationship between no-load potential E_0 and excitation current is called no-load characteristic of synchronous generator.  

1. The operators in the engine room should observe the safety operation rules, wear work clothes and insulation shoes, and the division of labor of the crew is clear;  

2. Check whether the guardrail cover of flywheel and generator is in good condition;  

3. Check the gear box, clutch, regulator, oil level, fasteners, etc., and keep them intact when the oil and water temperature is not less than 20 degrees.  

4. Set the system pipe gate at the working position; 

5. Check the connecting bolts of the transmission mechanism and tighten them; 

6. Check the clutch handle pressure is normal, overspeed safety device is in place;  

7. Check whether the cylinder pressure is normal and overspeed safety device is in place;  

8. Open the drainage valve of the pump;  

9. Check circulating water pump and oil pump.

10. Set the excitation resistor to the resistance position and turn off the transmission switch.
