Water Jacket Heater for Diesel Generator Set in Cold Area

The water jacket heater is a professional preheating device for diesel engine cooling water and lubricating oil. It is a necessary supporting device for diesel engine driving equipment when the working environment may be lower than 4℃.  When the operating environment may be lower than 4℃, in the starting stage, the lubricating oil and cooling water of the engine may condense into solid state, lose lubrication or cooling effect, thus damaging the engine.  

Working principle:  

Preheating and constant temperature of engine cooling water and lubricating oil through external power supply to ensure normal operation of diesel engine equipment in low temperature environment.  The XQJ preheater for fire protection is a constant temperature of 49℃ set according to the international fire protection standard.  

Specifications are as follows:  

Working voltage: AC 220V  

Temperature control range: 37~ 43℃ for conventional type, 37~49℃ for fire-fighting type  

Power rate: there are four specifications of 1500W, 2000W, 2500W and 3000W at present  

Installation method:  

Install the water flow in the direction indicated by the arrow on the jacket heater, and the nozzle is horizontal upward.  

When wiring, the flexible wire with working voltage of 220V and 1.5mm2 should be used as the lead wire. Then open the cover of the wire box on the side of the "water outlet", pass the power cable through the cover hole, pull out the wiring insert from the lead head in the box, and press the insert on the power cable with special crimping tool.  Reconnect the cables with the inner leads in the cable box (the yellow-green cables are the protection grounding cables). Ensure that the cables are firmly connected and in good contact.  

Make sure that the engine water jacket heater is firmly installed below the lowest water level and that the interior is cleared of air and filled with water before powering on.
