What Should be Paid Attention to When Using Shangchai Diesel Gensets in Summer

1. Good ventilation: The installation site should have good ventilation, and there should be good air outlets at the end of the Shangchai diesel generator. There should be sufficient air inlets at the end of the Shangchai diesel generator set. The outlet area should be greater than 1.5 times the area of the water tank.

2. Keep clean: The surrounding area of the installation site of the diesel generator set should be kept clean to avoid the generation of corrosive gases, acids, alkalis, and other vapors. Fire extinguishing devices should be equipped as much as possible.

3. Smooth smoke exhaust: When used indoors, the diameter of the diesel generator pipeline should be greater than or equal to the diameter of the exhaust pipe of the muffler. The elbows of the pipeline should not exceed three to ensure smooth flow of smoke. The pipeline should be tilted downwards by 5-10 degrees to prevent the injection of rainwater; If the exhaust pipe is installed vertically upwards, it is recommended to install a rain cover.  

4. Anti vibration: When using concrete on the foundation, the Shangchai diesel generator should use a level gauge to measure the level of the equipment during installation, in order to fix the equipment on a horizontal foundation. There should be a special cushion or bolt between the unit and the foundation.  

5. Grounding protection: The equipment casing should have a reliable protective grounding. Generators with directly grounded neutral points should be grounded by staff and equipped with lightning protection devices. It is strictly prohibited to use municipal power grounding equipment directly for neutral grounding.

6. Bidirectional switch: The bidirectional switch between the Shangchai diesel generator set and the commercial power supply should be very reliable to prevent power backflow. The reliability of bidirectional switches must be verified by the local power supply department and approved by the local power supply department.
