The user can operate the diesel generator set according to the normal operation steps and can start the operation. During no-load operation, the oil pressure, oil temperature, water temperature and speed are normal. After the unit is loaded for about 0.5h (after no-load for about 1H), the diesel generator set will stop automatically and give an audible and visual alarm at low oil pressure.After the automatic shutdown, start the diesel engine of the diesel generator set again. When the speed reaches the rated speed, the sound and light alarm of low oil pressure will appear and the engine will stop automatically.

Fault analysis: from the phenomenon, the cause of the fault is low lubricating oil pressure. Generally speaking, the reasons for low lubricating oil pressure of diesel generator set include low viscosity of lubricating oil, damage of pressure gauge, blockage of oil filter, no pumping of oil pump, excessive bearing clearance, etc.

Troubleshooting:

1.  According to the principle from simple to complex, check the lubrication system. Firstly, based on the fact that the lubricating oil of the diesel generator set has been used for a long time, the special lubricating oil was replaced according to the requirements, and the diesel generator set was shut down automatically again after running for about 1 hour.After shutdown, check the viscosity of lubricating oil and whether there is leakage of lubricating oil on the machine. After inspection, the viscosity of lubricating oil is qualified and there is no leakage of lubricating oil on the machine.

   
   

   
   

2. Check the lubricating oil pressure. Since the pressure sensor is used to detect the lubricating oil pressure of the diesel generator set, the lubricating oil pressure is converted into resistance and output to the instrument and electronic control system. Therefore, the diesel engine of the diesel generator set is equipped with a straight through oil pressure gauge to start the unit. During the whole operation stage of diesel generator set, closely monitor the lubricating oil pressure.After about 1 hour of operation, the diesel generator set stops automatically again. By observing the indication of the external pressure gauge, it is found that the oil pressure is normal. So far, it can be concluded that there is no problem with the oil pressure of the machine. The problem should be caused by the oil pressure sensor. Replace with a new pressure sensor and start the machine. The machine does not stop automatically after running for 2 hours. The trouble is eliminated.

Technical summary: when the machine is running for about 1 hour, the sensor has problems, which may be due to the oil temperature rising after the diesel generator set is running.When the temperature is high, the working curve of the sensor changes because of the long-term performance degradation, and there is a false alarm; After the machine cools down, the sensor returns to normal, so the machine works normally when it is cold and stops automatically when it is hot.
