3. When antifreeze is used in the cooling system of diesel engine, the concentration of DCA4 or DCA4+ additive in the coolant shall not exceed 2 units of additive per gallon of engine coolant (1 gallon =3.785 liters);  

4, when the antifreeze contains DCA4 chemical additives approved by Volvo Engine Company, antifreeze replacement cycle.  Antifreeze containing additives such as anti-corrosion and cavitation additives that are not approved by Volvo Engine Company is not recommended;  

5, DCA4 and DCA4+ additive content is slightly different, but can be used interchangeably.
